How Capacify works
The short version of how your account, your data, and your subscription connect.
Step 1
Your account, by default
When you open Capacify, you get a device-only account. Tasks save here, no signup. Fast first run, zero friction.
The trade-off: if you clear your browser or switch phones, your data stays behind.
Step 2
Link an email to upgrade to a cloud account
Free, no password. We send a 6-digit code. Your data syncs across devices, and your subscription follows you.
Step 3
Web app + mobile app
Same app, same account once linked. Use whichever you reach for.
Phone is great for capture; desktop is great for planning.
Step 4
About subscriptions
- Web
- Subscribe on web. Billed by Stripe. Manage in Calibration to Account.
- iPhone
- Subscribe on iPhone. Billed by Apple. Manage in iOS Settings to Subscriptions.
- Android
- Subscribe on Android. Billed by your device's app marketplace.
Note
Right now, a subscription doesn't transfer between platforms. Pick whichever device you mostly use. We're working on cross-platform sync.
Step 5
Privacy
We don't sell your task content. Delete your account any time from Calibration to Account.
